Observance of Panch-sheel in Daily Life

Several kinds of Panchsheel are incorporated within the five offerings of Bali-Veshya. Members of the family should be explained their significance so that they may have knowledge about the five sacred duties linked with various aspects of human life, which itself is a lifelong Yagya.

Panchsheel for physical well-being are - (a) Satvik and limited food, (b) adequate use of pure water, (c) deep breathing in open air, (d) Honest labor, and (e) care-free rest at night.

Panchsheel for wellbeing of mental health are - (a) sportsman like spirit, (b) sense of humors, (c) self-control, (d) sanctity of work and (e) self-contentment and enthusiasm.

Social Panchsheel are - (Honesty, (b) honest and sincere discharge of responsibilities as a citizen, (c) Gentle polite and sweet behavior, (d) Credibility and (e) willing and glad cooperation.

Family Panchsheel are - (a) Feelings of cooperation, Gratefulness and service towards elders, (b) Affection for and cooperation with youngsters, (c) Open-hearted love between the spouses, (d) Nobility of character as true prosperity, and (e) To have minimum number of children.

Religious Panchsheel are - (a) Unity, (b) Equality, (c) Co-existence, (d) Tolerance and (e) Deep devotion towards the Divine.

Spiritual Panchsheel are - (a) Unflinching faith in divine law of sowing and reaping, (b)Self-reliance, (c) Living simple life of an average citizen and utilizing the balance of resources for philanthropic purposes, (d) Keen aspiration for Jeewan Sadhana and (e) Loving kindness towards all creation.

All these Panchsheels are duties should be duly discussed and evaluated so that member of the family could understand the significance of Baliveshya towards achieving inner refinement while functioning in the work in a day life.
